Starter Class to Smashing Sourdough Bread Making
Saturday, 9th October and Sunday, 10th October, (Saturday 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., Sunday 10.30 a.m. - 11.45 a.m.) £50pp
For this online class you will be provided with step-by-step instructions on how to build and maintain your sourdough starter before we meet. Day 1 is "Making Day" and during our class this afternoon we will make two classic sourdough loaves, a batch of Minty or Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies and Sourdough American Pancakes! Day 2 is "Baking Day". I will guide you through successfully baking your loaves, everything will be ready in time for a scrumptious lunch on Sunday!
Know Your Loaf - Loaf Shaping Evenings, £20pp per evening
Wednesday, 22nd September and Friday, 1st October 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
I have had great times demonstrating shaping techniques for different styles of bread and buns. Two dates have been put aside to do just that! Make Spirals and Knots on the 22nd September, or tackle a Snail Loaf and a Crown Plait on the 1st October. Choose either of these dates or choose both for £35pp, please state which date you prefer when booking.
Sweet Bread Making with Autumn Nuts, Spice and Fruit
Saturday, 25th September, 2 - 5 p.m. £30pp
On this online class I will be teaching you how to make Salted Caramel and Apple Swirls with a Tahini Drizzle, (these are nine beauties filled with apples, toasted hazelnuts, your own homemade salted caramel and tahini drizzle). Also on this class, we will make a batch of Black Grape Mini Focaccia and Six Spiced Tea Cakes.
Babka and Challah Enriched Breads Masterclass
Sunday, 26th September 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. £30pp
On this online class I will be teaching you how to make traditional enriched breads: bread dough enriched with the addition of eggs, butter, oil or milk. We will make Celebratory Challah Braided Bread and Chocolate Babka. Learn to master a 6 strand braid and how to twist a chocolate filled Babka loaf. This workshop is most suitable for those with a bit of bread making experience!
Master Three European Breads
Friday, 15th October, 2 p.m.- 5 p.m £30pp
These are fun breads and absolutely delicious! With a nod to our European bread influencers, this range of breads has been selected to showcase some different styles of bread, finishes and flavours. Planned are a couple of fabulous French Pain D'épi (illustrated) which are shaped to mimic a head of wheat, gorgeous Smokey Cheese and Softened Red Onion Stromboli and nine Scandinavian Cardamon Buns.
Scandinavian Poppy Seeded Bread Wreath, Cinnamon Buns and Rye Crispbreads
Sunday, 17th October, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. p.m., £30pp
This class will focus on three popular bakes from Scandinavia; proper Cinnamon Buns (Kanelbullar), Rye Crispbreads (Knäckebröd) as well as a beautiful Poppy Seeded Tear Apart Wreath Loaf. These are fabulous bread bakes and all taste absolutely delicious!
Halloween Half Term Spooky Breads - Online Class for Families and Friends
