About Sue
I am stepping back from bread classes while I await hip surgery this summer, please do not panic I will be back before long and have some exciting news for 2025 and in to the future!!!
Sue Hudson is a baker who is passionate about teaching her students the skills to make beautiful, delicious bread made by hand using the best fresh ingredients. Sue's workshops have thrived over the last 15 years, moving from in person to online (Covid) and now both in person and online! Classes are informal and fun, all the ingredients, instructions and equipment are provided for in person workshops unless stated, and clear shopping list emailed in advance in the case of online.
Sue has spent many years perfecting her approach to Sourdough baking in particular and recently has been exploring bread ingredients in depth producing her own flour from specialist grains, and imagining a future of deliciously nutritious bread in a rich, low carbon food system.
